Kampus VIII Mersi juga menyelenggarakan kerja bakti yang diikuti oleh seluruh dosen, tendik, OSC dan mahasiswa. Kegiatan dilakukan untuk membersihkan lingkungan tempat kerja masing-masing dan lingkungan kampus.
